THE HOUSES
Students get a genuine British boarding school experience by staying on-site in bright and spacious houses. On warm summer evenings, they can enjoy the gardens or make use of the large and well-equipped common areas. We encourage cultural exchange by mixing the nationalities of students in their bedrooms.*
All our houses:
• Are within easy walking distance of the classrooms, dining rooms, and sports facilities
• Have a designated House Parent
• Have shared Rooms (1-6 beds), to suit every need
• Feature common areas with TVs, sofas, and games
• Include a kitchen for students to make snacks and hot drinks
• Provide a personal laundry service for machine-washable clothes
• Have free, monitored WiFi in every room
Student Welfare
The safety and well-being of our students is central to everything we do at English Study Camps by Wimbledon School of English. We ensure student welfare with:
Caring and dedicated staff
A designated Welfare Manager at each centre
First aiders at each centre and on excursions
An average staff-to-student ratio of 1:8 on excursions, ensuring our students are well looked after
Dedicated accommodation staff who liaise with students and hosts to ensure students are happy and comfortable in their homestay accommodation
House Parents and residential staff in every residence
Level 3 safeguarding training for our Welfare Manager and Deputy
DBS checks for all staff
First aiders on site at residential centres, with links to local doctors’ surgeries and hospitals
Meals
We know the importance that good quality food plays in learning and development, and we work with the Lord Wandsworth team to ensure a balanced and varied diet of traditional English and international dishes.
All students receive:

British Student Ambassadors
Our British Student Ambassadors are part of the programme at Lord Wandsworth College, Hampshire. As members of the student body they study alongside our international students, giving them the opportunity to learn about British culture first hand from their peers.
Our ambassadors live on campus with our international students and participate in our Future Business Leaders course and all activities.
In 2026, we welcomed students from 23 different nationalities to Lord Wandsworth College, giving both British and international students the opportunity to make friends and learn about different cultures. This unique platform cultivates cultural exchange and brings greater international understanding to all participants

Excursions & Clubs at Lord Wandsworth College
Britain is rich in cultural attractions and world-famous cities, and at Lord Wandsworth College students have the opportunity to experience some of these destinations through three full-day excursions per week for students staying for two weeks or more. Wednesday excursions have a language-learning focus, helping students practise their English beyond the classroom. On Saturdays, students enjoy an extended sightseeing and shopping excursion from 08:30 to 19:00, while Sundays offer a shorter, more local excursion

Shared Airport Transfers
